Class for Zoom is the platform used for live classes at Insight PA. Use the guides below to learn more about how to use this platform, as well as receive support.

Class for Zoom works best on your student laptop. Due to the limitations of Class for Zoom on mobile devices, joining your live classes from the Schoology mobile app is not recommended.

In Privacy Mode, only your instructor will be able to see your video feed.  In the upper right corner, click on “Gallery View”.  Then, click on “Privacy Mode” in the menu that appears.

Please note that students’ videos will not show on class recordings, regardless of the Privacy Mode setting.

Please note that if your system performance level is set to Moderate or Minimal, you will not be able to use a virtual background.

Changing your system performance level can help speed up your live class experience. By default, your live classes will start in Maximum performance.

If you see a CZ:000, CZ:202, CZ:206, or another type of error message when trying to join class, do the following:

  1. Exit out of your Chrome browser.
  2. Open your Chrome browser, navigate to your live class, and try to join again.
  3. If the error persists, follow the steps in the Class for Zoom Support section below to submit a Class for Zoom ticket.

*After submitting your Class for Zoom ticket, copy the ticket code and complete our Attendance Form. You will need to enter your ticket code to be marked excused!
