A New Chapter for Insight PA: Meet Our New CEO
“Every student deserves a learning environment where they feel safe, supported, and seen.” Those words come from Dr. Erin Van Guilder, our new Chief Executive Officer, and they could not be a better fit for Insight PA.
Dr. Van Guilder brings more than 25 years of public education experience to Insight PA. She has served as a classroom teacher, elementary school principal, curriculum director, and even led a K–12 virtual academy, so she knows online learning from the inside out. Most recently, she worked as Director of Customer Success for a national education technology organization, partnering with school systems across the country to improve student outcomes.
We are proud to welcome a leader who has spent her career doing what we do every day: meeting students where they are and giving them the tools to thrive.

Dr. Van Guilder’s arrival marks an exciting moment for our K–12 students and families across Pennsylvania. Her experience in educational technology, her deep roots in Pennsylvania schools, and her commitment to high expectations and strong relationships align perfectly with everything Insight PA stands for.
Her background in both traditional and virtual classrooms means she understands what Insight PA families are looking for and what our students need to succeed.
