Insight PA’s mission regarding safety is to create a secure, supportive, and inclusive online learning environment that protects students physically, emotionally, and online. This includes safeguarding student data through strong cybersecurity measures, promoting responsible online behavior, ensuring access to mental health resources, and enforcing anti-bullying policies across virtual platforms. Insight PA commits to compliance with state and federal regulations by providing staff training on safety protocols and fostering positive connections among students, families, and educators to reduce isolation and promote well-being alongside academic success.

SAFE2SAY – Safe2Say Something is a youth violence prevention program run by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. The program teaches youth and adults how to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, from individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others and to “say something” BEFORE it is too late.
Suicide and Crisis Lifeline – Call or text 9-8-8. Available 24/7, this line provides free and confidential support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress.
NetSmartzkids – NetSmartz is an online safety education program. It provides age-appropriate videos and activities to help teach children to be safer online with the goal of helping them become more aware of potential online risks and empowering them to help prevent victimization by making safer choices on and offline.
PA Office of Attorney General Resources on Cyberbullying – This resource provides definitions and information on cyberbullying, as well as responses for different ages and grade levels.
