Northampton County – Martin Guitar Museum & Factory Tour
December 3 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
*This trip is for Insight PA Middle and High School Students and one chaperone per family.
The C.F. Martin factory tour is a guided, one-hour tour, through their world-renowned factory in Nazareth, PA. Our Middle and High School students will experience the handmade craftsmanship that goes into every instrument they make and learn about their history and culture.
Middle and High School Insight students and their chaperone will also get to explore the Martin Museum. From the earliest known Martin guitar to the world-famous Dreadnought, the Martin Museum has well over a hundred guitars on display. The museum also showcases Martin’s history with ukuleles, mandolins, and strings. Students who have experience playing the guitar, are welcome to test out various samples in the Music Lesson Room.
Cost – Insight PA will cover the admission cost for currently enrolled students and one adult per family. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate additional guests on the factory tours, as the venue has a strict 10-person limit policy. We have two time slots booked (11:00 and 11:30, 20 tickets) and have reserved all the tickets available in those slots.
Lunch – Once our visit at the factory is over, we will head for lunch (provided by Insight PA) at the local pizza shop.
Parking – There is ample free, on-site parking available.
Meeting Location – Insight PA staff will have a sign-in table set up at the entrance.
Registration is required and will close at 4:00pm on 11/22/24.
