Monroe County – Schisler Museum & McMunn Planetarium

The Schisler Museum and McMunn Planetarium offer the only science center in the Pocono Mountains where you can enjoy nature and astronomy all under one roof!  Their popular exhibits will encourage our students to think like scientists, historians, and astronomers. During our visit, Insight PA students will ignite their curiosity and explore with their classmates.  The visit will start with a guided tour and then students will partner up for a scavenger hunt, then we will end with a program under the stars.

Cost – Insight PA will cover the admission cost for currently enrolled students and one adult per family.  Additional tickets can be purchased the day of the event.

Parking – Families will receive an emailed parking pass and map of East Stroudsburg University so they can take advantage of free parking in Lots FS19/20 and V29.

Meeting Location – Insight PA staff will have a sign-in table set up near the main entrance of the Hoeffner Science and Technology Center on the campus of East Stroudsburg University.

Registration is required and will close at 4:00pm on 11/22/24.
