We offer various clubs and organizations to enrich our middle school students’ experiences. Our newly expanded MS Esports program offers 7th and 8th grade students the opportunity to compete as individuals and on teams in organized leagues, as well as participate in non-competitive gaming opportunities and clubs. In addition to Esports, our MS students can join a wide variety of virtual clubs including The Bulldog Sports Club, Babysitters Club, Pride Club, Beats Music Club, and Books N Bulldogs (our MS Book Club). These clubs meet twice a month after school. Students can also participate in K12’s national club and enrichment offerings. (Visit our Learning Coach Central page to learn more.)
Virtual field trips occur monthly, offering dynamic learning opportunities. Last year, we explored themes like Earth Day, Veterans Day, Read Across America Day, Animals/Wildlife, and Longwood Gardens. Spirt Week celebrations and assemblies help bring our students together and celebrate our Bulldog Pride. Our Community Engagement Coordinators host in-person events throughout the state all year long, where students and their families can socialize and enjoy activities with each other and our Insight PA employees.
We encourage academic excellence and celebrate outstanding achievements through our Student of the Week and Quarterly Honor Roll recognition programs. Additionally, our eighth-grade students participate in our annual Career Day, gaining insights into various professions. Insight PA is proud to be recognized by National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) for having outstanding HS and MS students. Insight PA NJHS members are chosen each year by our MS staff. Students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 and demonstrate excellence in the Five Pillars of the NJHS: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character, and Citizenship.
