DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Reading Science Center features more than 50+ STEM-themed interactive exhibits in a vibrant 7\,000 square foot space.  Their popular exhibits and hands-on activities will encourage our students to think like scientists. SUMMARY:Northampton County – Martin Guitar Museum & Factory Tour
DESCRIPTION:  \n*This trip is for Insight PA Middle and High School Students and one chaperone per family. \nThe C.F. Martin factory tour is a guided\, one-hour tour\, through their world-renowned factory in Nazareth\, PA. Our Middle and High School students will experience the handmade craftsmanship that goes into every instrument they make and learn about their history and culture. \nMiddle and High School Insight students and their chaperone will also get to explore the Martin Museum.  From the earliest known Martin guitar to the world-famous Dreadnought\, the Martin Museum has well over a hundred guitars on display. The museum also showcases Martin’s history with ukuleles\, mandolins\, and strings.  Students who have experience playing the guitar\, are welcome to test out various samples in the Music Lesson Room. \nCost – Insight PA will cover the admission cost for currently enrolled students and one adult per family.  Unfortunately\, we are unable to accommodate additional guests on the factory tours\, as the venue has a strict 10-person limit policy.  We have two time slots booked (11:00 and 11:30\, 20 tickets) and have reserved all the tickets available in those slots. \nLunch – Once our visit at the factory is over\, we will head for lunch (provided by Insight PA) at the local pizza shop. \nParking – There is ample free\, on-site parking available. \nMeeting Location – Insight PA staff will have a sign-in table set up at the entrance. \nRegistration is required and will close at 4:00pm on 11/27/24 or when all tickets have been claimed. \nStudent Sign Up Form \nStaff Sign Up Form

But before the world fell in love with his chocolate\, Milton S. Hershey was a struggling entrepreneur determined to make a difference.  The museum experience will take our students on a journey through his life\, his chocolate company\, his generous philanthropic legacy and the town of Hershey\, PA. \nDepending on their grade\, students will receive an EduQuest that will help them explore the exhibits and enjoy the many interactive experiences throughout the museum.  In addition to the EduQuest\, students and ONE chaperone per family (due to limitations in the lab area) will participate in an hands-on chocolate lab. \nCost – Insight PA will cover the admission cost for currently enrolled students and one adult per family.  Additional tickets for the museum experience can be purchased the day of the event.  PLEASE note\, additional family members will not have the option to purchase tickets for the hands-on chocolate lab. \nParking – Free parking is located in the garage directly behind The Hershey Story. \nMeeting Location – Insight PA staff will have a sign-in table set up near the main entrance. \nRegistration is required and will close at 4:00pm on 12/6/24.  PLEASE NOTE: There are 60 spots available. DESCRIPTION:  \nThe 109th Pennsylvania Farm Show will be held at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center.  Join us on Friday\, January 10th as we explore all things Pennsylvania agriculture! The Farm Show is more than an event; it is a living testament to the bonds that tie us together as Pennsylvanians. \nCome out to enjoy the famous Farm Show food\, check out hundreds of agricultural exhibits\, see the sculpture carved from over 1\,000 pounds of butter\, learn about the wonders of nature\, and explore everything that makes agriculture Pennsylvania’s leading industry. \nOur students will have the opportunity to complete a scavenger hunt around the Farm Show Complex.  We will participate in a variety of activities as a group.  Details and times are to be determined. \nCost – Admission to the PA Farm Show is FREE \nParking – Parking is $15\, and may be paid by credit card\, at all Farm Show Complex-operated lots.  There are two off-site Farm Show parking lots available: East of the complex at the intersection of Elmerton Avenue and Sycamore Drive\, and Harrisburg Arena Community College (HACC) on Wildwood Park Drive\, directly north of the complex. \nMeeting Location – TBD \nRegistration is required and will close at 4:00pm on 1/3/25. \nStudent Sign Up Form\nStaff Sign Up Form
